Thursday's Lunch Time Walk

First, a quick follow up to the jury selection: I now have confirmation that it has been deferred till next spring. Great! I hope I'm busy at that time too. LOL.

Second, this morning a co-worker passed on a very interesting letter written to the top person in the organization, after the unexpected firing of my boss's boss back in June. The letter was written by someone now retired who had extensive experience in the top office. It was scathing. Brilliantly and professionally written, but absolutely scathing. And it's a long story as to how it's making the rounds; suffice to say that the letter-writer had given permission to a particular individual to distribute as s/he saw fit.

Reading it confirmed that it's not just my perception, that things are seriously amiss upstairs, and have been for quite some time now.

Well, top brass comes...and top brass goes. What's another five years?

Now, a few pics from yesterday. All grey on grey. The sailing regatta is gearing up, starts this weekend, and the kids were out practicing, getting instructions from their coaches.

If I'm going to keep doing this, getting out at lunch time, I'll have to start bringing another camera, because the Elph just doesn't cut it for zoom capability.

Anyway, probably I won't snap anything today, as my lunch hour will be spent in search of something to eat! (Usually I bring something, but I need to go grocery shopping.)

Take care, everyone.

Purrs from the boys and peace from me.

You HAVE to keep going out during lunch. I really love the photos you take. PLUS, you have to go feather hunting, remember? ;)

I can't imagine living close enough to the water to be able to get to it at lunchtime. We DO have a man-made lake but it's at least a 15 (more like 20 for me) minute walk. Since I get 1/2 hour lunch break it doesn't make sense to go there.

The photos are gorgeous, limited zoom or not!

Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs for Nicki and Derry too.

What beautiful pictures! As I sit here in Texas, you make me long for California where I lived close to the harbor and the beach. Sigh. Anyway, it's so nice that you can go there right on your lunch hour.
