A walk on the "wild" side
I went for an hour an half walk yesterday morning along the waterfront "trail" and to downtown. Now I know where all the ducks and geese are hanging out right now!
| I have no idea what kind of water bird this is. |
| I was surprised to see this merganser, I thought they were here more in spring/fall migrations. |
It was a "mild" morning, but I didn't take into account how raw it would be right on the Lake. Brrrr. I didn't linger anywhere!
There were joggers (mostly students, as I was near campus) and a few dog walkers, but not as many people as I had expected.
It was a lovely walk, but it was even better when I went for a London fog (tea latté) afterward! If it's chilly where you are, stay cosy! If it's warm where you are, well, then, please send us a bit of warmth!
Comments
I'd send warmth, but it has gotten cool(ish) here. I woke to a temperature of 9C this morning and though it is nearing 19C now.
Hugs and thank you for sharing the photos
Cecilia
PS we are thankfully 'well'! Don't want to jinx us though
