Musings on a Small Life

Yes, I know it's "false Spring," but even so, I was so over-the-moon to see these snowdrops yesterday, on my early AM walk, that I actually almost cried.    P.S. Jake has been back a couple of mornings now, and George has resumed his morning mooching!

Note for anyone new: Jake has a home with one of the neighbours, he comes for Fancy Feast and treats. 

George a couple of days ago, snapped through the screen. This was after his Fancy Feast and separate Greenies. I did not succumb to his appeal for yet more and he left, probably in a huff. Bonus: Jake yesterday, after his morning Fancy Feast.

Snapped on Saturday at a traffic light, while I was cabbing from an appointment. It was refreshing to see the dog secured properly in the back seat. Handsome fellow!

 

We had rain on Monday before it turned to snow overnight. And while I'm heartily sick and tired of winter, I admit it was rather magical looking yesterday! (Click to enlarge. Most were quick snaps with the phone.)     Only about 8 or so more weeks of winter to go....

No, I did not get a car; my neighbours are using my driveway for their second vehicle while they wait for a parking spot to open up in the complex. (LONG wait!)

  We all know at least one! BTW, my dad had an angiogram and one stent on Monday. The one blocked artery was 90% blocked, so it's good it was caught in time. No word as of Tuesday afternoon as to when they'll let him go home, though. He sounded good, his usual self, when I chatted briefly with him. I saw this in HomeSense last weekend. I don't do any kind of needlework or crafting, but the saying fits me to a "T"! Happy March 1st!
